The Ormond Beach Scenic Loop & Trail has been designated a National Scenic Byway by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The Loop runs along John Anderson Highway, Walter Boardman, Beach St, Granada and A1A and offers views of marshes, the ocean, the river, and thick trees and other natural vegetation. Less than 150 other roads across the country have received this designation.
